Sound

Below are is a test I did to look at differnt sounds in addition below there is a selection of music that i looked at to go in my film as well as what I final chose.

This was a test I did to look at the differnt quality of sound that the mics have, I tried both road and boom mics. I found that the boom mic was better as it picked up the sound better however it picked up lots of unwnated sound therefore to use the mic I would have to be in a quiet area whereas with the road mic it picks up less sound but does not pick up unwanted sound

This a song that I was going to use at the beginning of my short film to go along with the bike scene however the music and shots did not work together

This track I was going to use to help build up tension within the 2nd and 3rd act of the film however it did not fit the shots as it out did the shots (more epic)

This is a track that i was going to use however it did not fit with the genre of the short film in addition the rain in the track is the oppersite to the shots.

This is more of a fanstay track, even with antasy being a genre of the film it would only with with the shots that follow the genre then it will be the bimery oppersite of the other shots

This is also another fantsay genre track, this track evbn though being similar to the last fits better with the other genres of the film however the voical part of the track soes not fit with film.

This trach is one that I did consider using espeically with the vocals as they sit on with the theme and meaning of the short film however I believed that song was more pf an action genre therefore will not fit in with the film genre.

I wanted to add an inspirattional part to the film, the following two tracks are of my favourite actor giving an inspiration speech, i was not going to use these tracks however I would of created a smilar idea that is used in rhe tracks.

I was inspired by this song as it builds up the ension of the film and I liked this ides however I did not like the theme of the track.

This is another song that I was inspired by, the feel of loneliness and seperation.

This was the final track that I chose for my short film as it fit in with the buliding of tension as well as fitting in with two genres of my film as well (romance and fantsay) however the final genre does fit in with the final genre (horror) as it is bimery oppersite of the film so this also builds up tension.
